Journey Through Egypt: 7-Day Adventure in Cairo, Aswan, and Luxor

Day 1: Arrival in Cairo
Upon landing at Cairo International Airport, you will be greeted by a Blue Rays Tours representative who will assist with passport control and luggage. You will then be transferred to your hotel in Cairo via a private air-conditioned vehicle for check-in and an overnight stay.

Day 2: Exploring Cairo
After breakfast, your Egypt Key Tour guide will take you to the Giza Plateau to see the magnificent pyramids of Kings Cheops, Chephren, and Menkaure, guarded by the iconic Sphinx. The Great Pyramid of Cheops, the only surviving wonder of the ancient world, stands out among these. You’ll also visit the Valley Temple of Chephren. Next, you’ll explore the Egyptian Museum to view the priceless treasures of Tutankhamen. The day concludes with a visit to the bustling Khan El Khalili Bazaar. After the tour, you’ll return to your hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 3: Aswan Adventure and Nile Cruise Embarkation
In the morning, you’ll fly from Cairo to Aswan. Upon arrival, a Blue Rays Tours guide will escort you to the Aswan Granite Quarries, where you’ll see the famous unfinished obelisk. Then, you’ll visit Philae Temple, dedicated to the goddess Isis. In the afternoon, enjoy a felucca ride around Aswan’s islands, including Kitchener’s Botanical Garden and Elephantine Island. Later, you will embark on your Nile Cruise, enjoying lunch and dinner on board with oriental or Nubian entertainment. You’ll stay overnight on the cruise in Aswan.

Day 4: Abu Simbel and Kom Ombo Temple
Early in the morning, with a breakfast box provided, you’ll drive to Abu Simbel to explore the grand temples of Ramses II and Queen Nefertari. The temples are known for their spectacular setting and alignment with the sun. After returning to Aswan, the cruise will sail towards Kom Ombo, where you’ll visit the unique double temple dedicated to the falcon god Haroeris and the crocodile god Sobek. The day ends with dinner and an overnight stay on the cruise as it sails towards Edfu.

Day 5: Edfu Temple and Luxor
In the morning, visit Edfu Temple, dedicated to the falcon god Horus, renowned for its well-preserved structure and detailed reliefs. After the tour, return to the cruise for lunch as you sail to Luxor. Upon arrival, visit the Karnak Temple Complex and Luxor Temple, exploring their vast and ancient structures. Return to the cruise for dinner, a folkloric show, and an overnight stay in Luxor.

Day 6: West Bank of Luxor and Return to Cairo
After breakfast, disembark the cruise and head to the west bank of the Nile to visit the Valley of the Kings, the Mortuary Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, and the Colossi of Memnon. After the tour, you will be transferred to Luxor Airport for your flight back to Cairo. Upon arrival in Cairo, you will be transferred to your hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 7: Final Departure
Check out from your hotel and transfer to Cairo International Airport for your departure flight, concluding your unforgettable Egyptian adventure. Wishing you a safe journey home.
