Day 1: Arrival in Cairo
Upon arrival at Cairo International Airport, you will be met and assisted by a Blue Rays Tours representative who will help with passport control and luggage. You will then be transferred to your hotel in Cairo by a private air-conditioned vehicle for check-in and an overnight stay.

Day 2: Cairo to Luxor / Nile Cruise (4 Nights)
In the morning, transfer from your hotel to Cairo Airport for a flight to Luxor. Upon arrival, meet your Blue Rays Tours guide and visit the enormous temple complex at Karnak, featuring the Temple of Amun and the Avenue of the Sphinxes. Then visit the grand Temple of Luxor. Board your luxury cruise ship in time for lunch and stay overnight.

Day 3: Nile Cruise – Luxor to Edfu
Discover the Valley of the Kings in the Theban Hills west of the Nile, where tombs were built for the powerful kings of the New Kingdom. Admire Queen Hatshepsut’s impressive temple at Deir el-Bahri and view the Colossi of Memnon carved from quartzite sandstone. Later, sail to Edfu.

Day 4: Nile Cruise – Edfu to Kom Ombo
Visit Egypt’s best-preserved cult temple at Edfu, dedicated to the Falcon god Horus. Relax and admire the scenery as you sail upstream to Kom Ombo. Tour the temple of Kom Ombo, dedicated to the crocodile-headed god Sobek. In the evening, dress up in traditional clothing and enjoy an Egyptian dinner and Galabeya party on board. Sail to Aswan in the evening.

Day 5: Nile Cruise – Aswan “Felucca Ride”
Enjoy a leisurely day on board the Nile Cruise or opt for an optional day tour to Abu Simbel Temples. In the afternoon, sail in a traditional Felucca across the Nile to see the botanical gardens on Kitchener’s Island and the Agha Khan Mausoleum. Stay on board overnight.

Day 6: Disembark in Aswan / Fly to Cairo
Disembark in Aswan after breakfast and explore the High Dam. Visit the Temple of Isis on the island of Philae and see the unfinished Obelisk. Enjoy a Felucca ride to see the Botanical Garden. After the tour, fly back to Cairo and check in to your hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 7: Cairo Sightseeing City Tour
Experience thousands of years of history during a full day of sightseeing. Visit the ancient Citadel built to protect the city from the Crusaders, marvel at the Alabaster Mosque’s ornate interior, and see the Sultan Hassan Mosque, a masterpiece of Mamluk architecture. Visit the Egyptian Museum to see Tutankhamun’s priceless treasures. End the day at Khan El Khalili Bazaar, one of Cairo’s main attractions. Return to your hotel for the night.

Day 8: Cairo – Pyramid Excursion
See the limestone Colossus of Ramses the Great and the giant alabaster Sphinx at Memphis. Admire the step pyramid at Sakkara, which heralded the beginning of the pyramid age. Marvel at the Great Pyramids of Giza, one of the seven wonders of the ancient world, and see the enigmatic Great Sphinx. Return to your hotel for an overnight stay in Cairo.

Day 9: Departure from Cairo
Check out from your hotel after breakfast and transfer to Cairo Airport for your departure flight home. Wishing you a safe journey!
