9-Day / 8-Night Tour of Cairo, Alexandria, and Siwa Oasis

DAY 1: Arrival in Cairo
Upon arrival at Cairo International Airport, a Blue Rays Tours representative will assist you through passport control and luggage area. You will then be transferred to your hotel in Cairo by a private, air-conditioned vehicle for check-in and overnight stay.

DAY 2: Cairo City Tour
At 8:00 am, your tour guide will meet you at your hotel lobby and take you to visit the Giza Plateau to see the impressive Pyramids of Kings Cheops, Chephren, and Menkaure, as well as the Sphinx and the Valley Temple of King Chephren. Afterward, visit the Egyptian Museum of Antiquities, showcasing over 120,000 artifacts, including treasures from the tomb of Tutankhamun. Enjoy a relaxing felucca boat ride on the Nile River before returning to your hotel for the night.
Optional: Camel ride around the pyramids.

DAY 3: Alexandria Sightseeing
At 7:00 am, check out and drive to Alexandria in an air-conditioned vehicle. Visit the Catacombs of Kom Al Shoqafa, Pompey’s Pillar, and the Roman Amphitheatre. Stop by the Library of Alexandria and take photos at Qaitbay Fort. Overnight stay in Alexandria.

DAY 4: Travel to Siwa Oasis
After breakfast and checking out, travel to Siwa Oasis with a stop at Marsa Matrouh for lunch. Continue to Siwa Oasis, check in at your hotel, and stay overnight.

DAY 5: Siwa Oasis Sightseeing
Visit the Temple of the Oracle, Cleopatra’s Pool, and Dakrour Mountain. Enjoy a swim in the Salt Lake and a jeep safari in the Great Sand Sea, visiting Bir Waheed. Spend the night camping in the desert with a Bedouin dinner.

DAY 6: Siwa to Cairo
After breakfast, visit the old city of Shali and the Mountain of the Dead. Transfer back to Cairo for an overnight stay.

DAY 7: Pyramid Tour
Visit the Saqqara Complex, including the Step Pyramid of King Zoser, and the Imhotep Museum. Continue to Memphis and then to Dahshur to see the Bent and Red Pyramids. Return to your hotel for the night.

DAY 8: Cairo City Tour 2
Visit the National Museum of Egyptian Civilization and the Royal Mummies Hall. Tour the Citadel of Saladin, the Alabaster Mosque, and take a walking tour of El Moez Street, ending at Khan el Khalili Bazaar. Return to your hotel for the night.

DAY 9: Final Departure
Check out from your hotel after breakfast and transfer to Cairo International Airport for your departure flight.
