9-Day / 8-Night Luxurious Tour of Cairo and the Nile

DAY 1: Arrival in Cairo
Upon arrival at Cairo International Airport, a Blue Rays Tours representative will assist you with passport control and luggage. You will then be transferred to your hotel in Cairo by a private, air-conditioned vehicle for check-in and overnight stay.

DAY 2: Pyramids Tour
After breakfast, your personal guide will take you to the Giza Plateau to visit the Great Pyramids of Cheops, Chephren, and Mykerinus, as well as the Sphinx and the Valley Temple. You can also visit the Solar Boat Museum (extra ticket required). Enjoy lunch at a high-quality restaurant before heading to Saqqara to see the Djoser Pyramid and Memphis, the ancient capital. Overnight in Cairo.

DAY 3: Cairo Sightseeing
Start your day with breakfast at your hotel, then visit the Egyptian Museum, the Citadel of Salah El-Din, and enjoy lunch at a local restaurant. Explore Islamic Cairo and the historic Khan El Khalili bazaar. Overnight in Cairo.

DAY 4: Fly to Luxor / Nile Cruise
Check out early and fly to Luxor. Upon arrival, you will be transferred to your Nile cruise ship. After lunch, visit the impressive Karnak and Luxor Temples. Return to the cruise ship for overnight.

DAY 5: Luxor West Bank Tour – Sail to Edfu
After breakfast, explore the Valley of the Kings, visiting three tombs (excluding the Tomb of Tutankhamun). Visit the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut and the Colossi of Memnon. Return to your cruise ship for lunch as you sail to Esna. Enjoy dinner and overnight on the cruise.

DAY 6: Edfu and Kom Ombo Temples
After breakfast, visit the Temple of Horus at Edfu. Return to the ship for lunch and sail to Kom Ombo to visit the temple dedicated to Sobek and Horus. Enjoy dinner onboard as you sail to Aswan. Overnight on the cruise.

DAY 7: Aswan Nile Cruise Tours
After breakfast, visit the Aswan High Dam, the Unfinished Obelisk, and take a boat to Philae Temple. Return to the cruise ship for lunch, afternoon tea, and dinner. Enjoy free time in Aswan. Overnight on the cruise.

DAY 8: Abu Simbel Temple / Fly to Cairo
Disembark after breakfast and transfer to Aswan Airport for your flight back to Cairo. Optional: Excursion to Abu Simbel to see the temples of Ramesses II and Queen Nefertari. Overnight in Cairo.

DAY 9: Final Departure
After breakfast, check out from your hotel and transfer to Cairo Airport for your departure flight.
