7-Day Cairo and Nile Cruise Tour by Flight

Day 1: Arrival in Cairo
Upon arrival at Cairo International Airport, you will be met and assisted by an Blue Rays Tours representative who will help you with passport control and luggage. You will then be transferred to your hotel in Cairo by a private air-conditioned vehicle for check-in and an overnight stay.

Day 2: Giza Pyramids, Egyptian Museum, & Khan El Khalili Bazaar
At 8:00 am, marvel at the Great Pyramids of Giza, one of the seven wonders of the ancient world, and see the enigmatic Great Sphinx. Visit the Egyptian Museum to see Tutankhamun’s priceless treasures, discovered by Howard Carter in the Valley of the Kings in 1922. Explore “Islamic Cairo” with a walking tour of El Moez Street and end the day at Khan El Khalili Bazaar.
Return to your hotel for an overnight stay in Cairo.

Day 3: Fly to Aswan / Aswan Sightseeing – Felucca Ride / Nile Cruise
In the morning, check out and fly to Aswan. Upon arrival, meet your Blue Rays Tours guide and visit the High Dam, Philae Temple, and the unfinished Obelisk. After the tour, embark on your Nile Cruise, have lunch, and freshen up. Later, enjoy a traditional Felucca ride on the Nile to see the botanical gardens on Kitchener’s Island. Overnight on the Nile Cruise.

Day 4: Sail to Kom Ombo / Nile Cruise
Spend a leisurely morning on board the Nile Cruise or opt for a day tour to Abu Simbel Temples. In the afternoon, sail to Kom Ombo and tour the temple dedicated to the crocodile-headed god Sobek. In the evening, dress up in traditional clothing and enjoy an Egyptian dinner and Galabeya party. Overnight on the Nile Cruise.

Day 5: Edfu – Luxor East Bank / Nile Cruise
After breakfast, visit the best-preserved cult temple in Egypt at Edfu, dedicated to the Falcon god Horus. Sail to Luxor and in the afternoon, visit the enormous temple complex at Karnak, featuring the Temple of Amun and the Avenue of the Sphinxes. Then visit the grand Luxor Temple. Overnight on the Nile Cruise.

Day 6: Disembark / West Bank Tour / Fly to Cairo
Disembark after breakfast and discover the Valley of the Kings in the Theban Hills, where tombs were built for the powerful nobles of the New Kingdom. Admire Queen Hatshepsut’s impressive temple at Deir el-Bahri and view the Colossi of Memnon. After the tour, fly back to Cairo and check in to your hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 7: Departure from Cairo
Check out from your hotel after breakfast and transfer to Cairo Airport for your departure flight home.
