6-Day Tour of Cairo, Luxor, and Aswan

Description

Day 1: Arrival in Cairo
Upon arrival at Cairo International Airport, a Blue Rays Tours representative will assist you with passport control and luggage. You will then be transferred to your hotel in Cairo by a private air-conditioned vehicle for check-in and an overnight stay in Cairo.

Day 2: Pyramids Tour
After breakfast, your Blue Rays Tours guide will escort you to visit the Great Pyramids of Giza, one of the seven wonders of the ancient world, and the enigmatic Great Sphinx. Next, visit Sakkara, the largest ancient burial ground in Egypt and home to the oldest pyramid, the Step Pyramid of King Djoser. Continue to Memphis, Egypt’s former capital, and a UNESCO World Heritage site since 1979. Optionally, you can attend the Sound & Light show at the Pyramids in the evening.
Return to your hotel for an overnight stay in Cairo.

Day 3: Fly to Aswan / Aswan Tour
Check out of the hotel in the morning and transfer to Cairo Airport for a domestic flight to Aswan. Upon arrival, visit the High Dam and Philae Temple with your Blue Rays Tours guide. After the tour, check in to your hotel for an overnight stay in Aswan.

Day 4: Travel to Luxor / Luxor Tour
Check out early and travel to Luxor by private air-conditioned vehicle (approximately 3.5 hours). Upon arrival, visit the West Bank including the Valley of the Kings, Colossi of Memnon, and Hatshepsut Temple. In the afternoon, explore the East Bank with visits to Luxor Temple and Karnak Temple. Check in to your hotel for an overnight stay in Luxor.

Day 5: Flight to Cairo / City Tour
Check out in the morning and transfer to Luxor Airport for your flight to Cairo. Upon arrival, visit the Egyptian Museum, Old Cairo (including the Hanging Church, Saint Sergius and Bacchus Church, and Ben Ezra Synagogue), and Khan El Khalili Bazaar. Optionally, enjoy dinner on a Nile cruise with Egyptian folk shows. Return to your hotel for an overnight stay in Cairo.

Day 6: Final Departure
After breakfast, check out from your hotel and transfer to Cairo Airport for your departure flight home.
