6-Day Cairo and Luxor Discovery Tour

Day 1: Arrival in Cairo
Upon arrival at Cairo International Airport, a Blue Rays Tours representative will assist you with passport control and luggage. You will then be transferred to your hotel in Cairo by a private air-conditioned vehicle for check-in and an overnight stay in Cairo.

Day 2: Pyramids, Saqqara, and Memphis
At 8:00 am, your Blue Rays Tours guide will escort you to visit the Great Pyramids of Cheops, Chephren, and Mekerinus, as well as the iconic Sphinx and the Valley Temple. Optional: Enjoy a camel ride around these magnificent structures.
Next, visit the ancient step pyramid of Djoser in Saqqara, learning about the evolution of pyramid design. Continue to Memphis, Egypt’s former capital and cultural center. Optional: In the evening, attend the sound and light show at the Pyramids. After the tour, return to your hotel for an overnight stay in Cairo.

Day 3: Fly to Luxor – East Bank
After breakfast, check out and transfer to Cairo Airport for your flight to Luxor. Upon arrival, meet your Blue Rays Tours guide and visit the East Bank, including the Karnak Temples and Luxor Temple. Check in to your hotel and overnight in Luxor.

Day 4: West Bank – Fly to Cairo
After breakfast, check out and enjoy an excursion to the West Bank of the Nile, visiting the Valley of the Kings, the Temple of Hatshepsut, and the Colossi of Memnon. After the tour, transfer to Luxor Airport for your flight back to Cairo. Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel in Cairo for an overnight stay.

Day 5: Cairo City Tour
At 8:30 am, transfer to visit the Egyptian Museum, home to ancient Egyptian treasures including those of King Tutankhamun. Then, visit Old Cairo (Coptic Cairo) to see the Hanging Church, Saint Sergius and Bacchus Church, and the Jewish Synagogue of Ben Ezra. Continue to Khan El Khalili Bazaar, a bustling market with souvenir shops, coffeehouses, and restaurants.
Return to your hotel for an overnight stay in Cairo.

Day 6: Departure
After breakfast, check out from your hotel and transfer to Cairo Airport for your departure flight home.
